The best place to stay and eat in Nairn! So close to the airport, great food, clean and comfortable rooms, fun entertainment! Our room was very clean and had beautiful views out to the water. The bathroom was sparkling and the linens were perfect. The bed was comfortable and was maybe the best night of sleep we had in Scotland. We had HOT showers with tons of hot water and really appreciated the French press for coffee! Also, there was a lighted makeup mirror--SUCH a nice touch!! If you're considering staying, just do it. The room is absolutely worth the rate. We had dinner in the pub and it was very good! I got the fish n chips; my husband got the steak and ale pie (plus the pulled pork dirty fries) and everything was so delicious and came out of the kitchen hot. Yes, you want to make a reservation! We also had breakfast in the morning, which was also very good and filling! Both dinner and breakfast was really well done and totally worth including as part of your stay. The location can't be beat. We walked down to the beach in the morning and looked for dolphins and other sea life. It was fun to watch the oystercatchers running across the lawn! There was music in the pub the night we stayed and the staff was so great about putting us in a room that was quieter (though, we loved the music too--it's part of the reason we stayed!). The drive to the airport in the morning was easy and quick. So glad we found this little gem! If we're ever in Scotland again, we'll certainly be back!

My parents and brother stayed for 2 nights and loved the hotel. They sat and gazed at the view from their room over the links to the Black Isle in bliss! It's a family-run business and it absolutely felt like that - very welcoming and a great caring team who couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you.

My Wife and had an overnight stay and had a great time. The room was ready on time & spotless. All the staff were brilliant and could not have done anything more to make us feel welcome so much so we stayed in here for dinner that night. The choice of Drinks at the bar was exceptional and the Dinner was fantastic. All in all a great place to stay and eat and what makes it a bit more special for us was the room was pet friendly and the our dog was able to be with us at the bar table and while we had our dinner. Then the full Scottish breakfast set us up for the rest of the day, First class

Went in for lunch and beers. We sat in the conservatory, with a beautiful seaview. My husband had fish and chips. I had a salad. Both were very tasty and good portions. There were a great selection of cask ales and other interesting beers on keg. We will return!

We had an amazing stay at The Bandstand! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Our room was super cosy and comfy, and we had a bay window with stunning views across the Moray Firth. It's right by the beach and a short walk to Nairn Harbour and RSPB Cublin Sands. We had dinner there which was delicious - my husband said it's the nicest steak he's ever had! For breakfast husband had the full Scottish which he loved, and I had yummy French Toast with fruit. There was live music and a really nice atmosphere in the bar. We can't wait to come back - thanks Paul and team. x

Our go to pub in Nairn for when we visit family. Every evening a walk down from the harbour, along the seafront, and then to the Bandstand for a few and occasionally a bite to eat. Inside it's a little cosy but has a great vibe. You can understand the draw for locals and for visitors. Good range of lager and beer on tap and the food is very good. Have only popped into the restaurant out of curiosity, looks very nice although we prefer to be in the heart of things, in the bar. Can't comment on the rooms, seemed a little pricey, but given the limited availability it would seem the price is set perfectly. They look far more appealing than the pricey budget hotels I regularly have to stay at in London. Lovely pub, not back until October but will be a regular haunt for 4 or 5 evenings.

Great place to stay stunning breakfasts as always in my opinion as a tour guide Davie the breakfast chef makes the best breakfast in anywhere I have stayed. I book this place to stay over anywhere in the Inverness area his food is that good!

We have come here for food many times over the years and I am delighted to say it still serves the best steak pie I’ve ever had. There are restaurants I enjoy and foods I like to eat but there’s not a lot that impresses me…this being an exception. It’s first class and I urge anyone who fancies good food to come here and try it for themselves. Sitting outside at the back of the building in nice weather is perfect as it sits on such a quiet little street. There’s also the restaurant which faces out to the coast and has great views. Choice is yours!! Staff are also excellent, pleasant, efficient and the Bandstand also has a nice chilled vibe to it. Theres also a ridiculous and varied amount of whiskies all around the bar so you simply can’t go wrong.
